The Hillcrest Farmer’s Market
The Hillcrest Farmers’ Market is a community service for our neighbors, providing fresh, locally grown food and supporting local growers. It’s also a great way for us to meet hundreds of shoppers and cultivate rich relationships.
Begun in May 2010 as an outreach ministry and mission of the church, the market allows our members and staff to be an active part of the Hillcrest community, and to reach out to all we meet. The market started with 9 vendors and has grown to 28+ on summer Saturdays.
Open year-round, the market operates on Saturday mornings. In the May-September season we’re open 7 AM to 11 AM, and in the October-April months we open from 8 AM to 11 AM. We’re closed when weather is snowy or icy.
The market is located along the front sidewalk of our church, 2200 Kavanaugh Blvd. in Hillcrest and around the corner on Cedar Street.
You’ll find fresh vegetables and fruits, meat, cheese, baked goods, plants, flowers, jelly/jam, salsa, pickles and more.
You can find more information about the market on our Facebook page at Hillcrest Farmers’ Market.
