Situated in the midtown area of Hillcrest, about five blocks due north of the state medical complex, we are given the unique capability of reaching people throughout central Arkansas and literally across the globe. In fact, a number of our church folk come from places such as Beebe, Carlisle, Cabot, and Pine Bluff, as well as from all over the greater Little Rock area. And, we have made friends with people from as far away as Australia and South Korea. Why? Because they have come to value who we are, what we represent in the name of Christ, and they want to be a part of it.

PHBC, as it moves toward the completion of its first century, constantly seeks to provide relevant ministry to our community. We consider ourselves a “missional” church. One of our core beliefs is that when we are not gathered together for worship and fellowship, wherever our membership is represented we constitute the presence of Christ. We are involved in the Delta project called “Partners in Hope.” We participate with other area churches in the Interfaith Hospitality Network, a ministry to and with homeless families. Two of our staff pastors have recently been to Africa and have led our church in developing water well projects in Kenya and Zambia. Soon, we hope to partner with area colleges to address important issues such as housing and community violence.

The best way for you to discover who we are is to come and worship with us. The only way we can get to know you is by personal relationship. We worship at 10:45 each Sunday. Our worship is preceded by Bible study at 9:30, and we have classes for everyone.
