Dr. Hyde To Preach at Racial Unity Service at St. Mark Baptist Church
St. Mark Baptist Church was the setting Sunday evening, March 7, for the second annual Racial Unity Service, sponsored by ten Little Rock-area Baptist churches. The service last year was held at Pulaski Heights Baptist, with Bishop Steven Arnold of St. Mark preaching. Our pastor, Dr. Randy Hyde, was the preacher for this year’s service. Before approximately 400 worshipers, Dr. Hyde preached on the theme, “Those Who Are With Us” from 2 Kings 6:8-23.
Dr. Fitz Hill, President of Arkansas Baptist College, gave testimony to the work that is being done to resurrect the school and neighborhood. An offering was received for ABC’s development fund.
St. Mark’s sanctuary choir served as the focus for the music, and the service was concluded with the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
