WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDIES - Summer 2010
 
Supper on Wednesday evenings is from 5:15 to 5:45 PM. A brief time of prayer and announcements follows, and the study times begin at 6 PM and are over at 7 PM.  Childcare is available.
 

Letters From a Skeptic and The Gospel of John will be offered for our adult Bible study.
 
  • Beginning June 23, Jarell Wilson, our summer ministry intern, and Dr. Hyde will present a book study entitled Letters From a Skeptic. The book is based on letters between a son who is a minister and his unbelieving father. Books will be made available very soon. We encourage you to attend.

 

  • The Gospel of John will be a book discussion of John’s writing of the life and times of Christ and his ministry. The Gospel of John contains some of Scripture’s best-loved verses. The book will take us through the life of Jesus, ending with his death and resurrection, and his final words to the disciples. This study will be taught by Dr. Cassandra Quave, one of our active young adults at PHBC. Cassy was involved in a Bible study in her former church, and is looking forward to gathering with others to read and discuss the Gospel of John together.  The study group will meet in the Youth Hall. A student book is available for $5. 

 

  • The Kids Bible Study continues to be an exciting, wonderful hour for our children, preschool through grade 5. An outstanding team of teachers led by Casey Brown prepares a Bible story, crafts, games and music for the kids every week. Be there!

 

  • The Youth will also continue their Wednesday Night Youth fellowship time in the Rec Hall. Tim Hyde is their fearless leader.
